This post, "US Soccer Announces 2018 Pride Month Plans," originated from lgbt.soccer.

The US Soccer Federation has announced its plans for Pride Month 2018 along with their partners the You Can Play Project.

For the second year, members of the national teams will have rainbow numbers on their jerseys and captains will wear rainbow armbands throughout the month. The Men’s National Team plays Ireland and France in June, while the Women’s National Team plays China twice.

The Federation is also selling Pride hats and scarves, with the proceeds going to the work of the You Can Play Project.

While in Dublin, the Men’s National Team also welcomed local LGBT teams Dublin Devils FC and Phoenix Tigers to one of their training sessions.

The US Soccer announcement comes the same week as US Women’s National Team player Jaelene Hinkle with right-wing Christian program The 700 Club in which she admitted that she left team camp last June over their wearing LGBT Pride jerseys for their matches.
